Terms and conditions · draft to complete
1. Seller and contacts
The service is operated by [LEGAL NAME], address [ADDRESS], VAT no. [NUMBER], email [CONTACT]. Complete the identification and contact details required in the countries where you sell.
2. Service and account
Italoo offers Italian courses, interactive exercises and, where available, bookable lessons. The initial test is indicative; the level can be changed. The user provides correct data, protects their credentials and uses the service lawfully. Define the minimum age and rules for minors before launch.
3. Plans and prices
Before the order, show the total price, taxes, duration, renewal, included features and technical requirements; send a confirmation on a durable medium. Enter the actual prices and conditions and align this page with the price list and checkout: [VERIFY].
4. Payments and renewals
The current integration uses Stripe. Before confirmation, clearly show the amount, interval, date of the first charge, renewal and how to stop it. Define taxes, invoicing and rules by country and customer type.
5. Cancellation
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not automatically amount to a right of withdrawal or a refund. Verify steps, effective date and confirmation in the account/Stripe flow. Where applicable, keep a separate online withdrawal function accessible throughout the legal period.
6. Lessons
Before booking, state the final price, duration, time zone, format, confirmation and rules for changes, absences and refunds. Define who is party to the contract and who invoices; verify the legal status of teachers before describing it.
7. Right of withdrawal
Statutory terms and exceptions apply to distance contracts with consumers. Starting digital content or services does not automatically remove the right: collect the information, express consent and confirmations required by law. In Italy, where applicable, provide the online function under art. 54-bis of the Consumer Code with submission and confirmation before selling.
8. Content and intellectual property
Trademarks, texts, illustrations, audio and software belong to their respective owners. The user receives a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service; they may not copy or resell the content. Define licences and moderation for user-submitted material, if introduced.
9. Availability and liability
Maintenance or interruptions are possible. Nothing limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that the law does not allow to be excluded. Define support, complaints and remedies in compliance with the law.
10. Privacy
Processing is described in the Privacy notice and the Cookie notice, to be read together with these terms.
11. Law and disputes
Governing law, jurisdiction, support and effective version: [COMPLETE WITH LEGAL ADVICE]. Mandatory consumer rights and forums remain unaffected.
