Cookies and device storage · draft
1. Current status
No analytics, advertising or profiling tools were found in the reviewed application code. Also verify cookies and scripts set by hosting, CDN, widgets and providers in production.
2. Technical cookies
Supabase SSR uses an authentication cookie with a dynamic name similar to sb-<project-ref>-auth-token; duration and attributes depend on configuration and must be verified. NEXT_LOCALE remembers the selected language; the code sets a maximum duration of one year.
3. Local storage
The browser keeps italoo-speech-settings (voice and speed), italoo-audio-guidato (guided reading on or off) and italoo_cookie_notice_seen (notice read) in localStorage. They are not HTTP cookies; they stay on the device until deleted by the user or the browser.
4. Microphone and voice
Pronunciation recordings stay temporarily in the browser and Italoo does not upload them. Dictation may be processed by the browser or operating system with its provider. Synthesis and recognition vary by browser and settings: identify the supported services and verify their processing before publication. The microphone is optional.
5. Management and changes
You can delete local data from your browser settings. Since the application shows no optional tracking categories, the notice is informational and does not ask for statistical consent. Before introducing non-essential tools, update the inventory and interface and obtain valid consent before activating them.
